Job summary
The Sales Representative is responsible for promoting the company's products or services, developing and managing customer relationships, achieving sales targets and contributing to the company's growth.
Responsibilities
- Prospecting and identifying new sales opportunities.
- Establish relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Present the company's products or services convincingly.
- Negotiate sales agreements and conclude contracts.
- Meet and exceed sales targets.
- Track and manage customer orders.
- Provide high quality customer service by responding to customer queries and concerns.
- Work with the marketing team to develop effective sales strategies.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the company's products or services and those of the competition.
- Provide regular reports on sales activity and results.
Qualifications
- University degree (preferred, but not required).
- Previous sales experience, preferably in the relevant industry.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships.
- Self-motivated, persistent and results-oriented.
